Week 16: Day 106-112

Sometimes you just have to go with the flow. Follow the river. Take the path most traveled. Blend in with the crowd. I know that most babies develop pads on their fingertips and toes. I realize that nearly everyone at some point starts looking forward instead of sideways. I understand that I am not unique when my ears attained their proper position. I accept that around this time almost everybody's bones will have begun to harden. I even acknowledge that I've coated my nerves with a fatty substance called myelin to speed nerve cell transmission and to insulate them to avoid packet loss(lost or interrupted messages).

I'm just saying that I did all these things so well, so fast, with so much style, with so much panache, that Mommy can't wait to meet me! She's very very very excited. She even thinks she felt me move!! I may only be 5.5 inches long, and its probably only gas, but Mommy swears she can feel me fluttering about sometimes. She's as happy as can be!
