Week 33: Day 225 - 230

Well well well.. THIS was quite the little exciting week. All kinds of things happened. Some happy, some scary. Uh oh! Let's dive right in! SPLASH!

I weigh about 4.5 lbs and measure around 12 inches long. Any jokes comparing me to a foot or a ruler will cause me to giggle! tee hee!

Mommy's blood volume increased from about 17 cups to around 21 cups. That's a lot of blood! I haven't decided if I wanna drop yet or not. I mean, it's enticing, but then I'll be squished, and I don't care to be squished. Unless its a hug from Grandma. She can squish me all she likes. :)

Mommy went to her normal doc visit and guess what?!?!? CHICKEN BUTT! HAHAHAHAH
I don't get it either, but Mommy thinks its funny. Anyway, during this routine office visit and non-stress test it turns out Mommy was HAVING CONTRACTIONS!!! OHHH the drama!!

Mommy didn't even feel the contractions. She was admitted to the labor & delivery room where she called Daddy at work. Mommy didn't even feel the contractions, and she wasn't dilated at all, so he stayed at work and Mommy stayed in the hospital until the doc could figure out what was going on. Can't blame me, I didn't do anything! This is the first time Mommy had ever been admitted into a hospital before. They didn't have enough beds so they had her sit in the kitchen. Poor Mommy! Anyway, they gave her some shots to stop the contractions. The contractions were reduced but not eliminated, and she was sent home on STRICT BED-REST! Well, this was on Friday, and the Baby Shower was Sat, and family and friends were in town, so didn't actually get bed rest until Sunday. Tis Boo. I'll make a completely separate blog post about the shower. It was that awesome!

On Monday, Mommy went back to the doc and everything turned out being OK. Whew!
