It all started on Thursday 9/13/07. Daddy was at work playing D&D. Mommy started getting some back aches. Since she had been working all day she figured the back pains were from sitting in her computer chair all afternoon. Later in the evening she got some frontal cramping. Daddy got home and read some paperwork that mentioned back pain may be a sign of contractions. Walking didn't help, but they were difficult to time due to the pain being in the back or the front. They seemed to last about 55 secs, +/-5 secs and where usually 3 or 5 mins apart but sometimes longer or shorter. They didn't seem to be getting stronger or weaker, but the pain was somewhat intolerable. Poor Mommy. I wish I could give her a hug.
About 4am on Friday 9/14/07 the pain was too much for Mommy to sleep, and Daddy wanted to know if the contractions were being timed accurately and how dilated Mommy was. Daddy called the doc and she said we could go to the hospital so we all did. Turns out Mommy was only 80% thinned and had dilated a mere 1cm. That's not enough space for me to go through!
