Light. I see light at the end of the tunnel! Glory be, I CAN SEE THE LIGHT!
Oh wait, that's just a piece of digested McDonalds. My bad.
Anyway, I remember my birth as though it were yesterday :)
Mommy was unable to stand the back pain anymore, so her and Daddy went to the hospital again around 1am on Saturday morning, 9/15/07. We were admitted and Mommy was given an I.V. for fluids and some pain medication, which helped her a lot. At this point she was only 2 or 3 cm dilated but completely thinned. Sorry Daddy. I'm too squished in here to wait until National Talk Like A Pirate Day (Sep 19th). Besides, it's Saturday and I hear there's some good cartoons on.
As soon as possible, Mommy wanted an Epidural, and from then on things went very smooth. She was eventually given some Pitocin in order to help along the dilation. Around 1045am or so on Saturday Mommy was ready to begin a few pushing exercises. She did so well though, the doctor was very impressed how how much I moved with each push and after only 15 or 20 mins of actual delivery time (about 5 or 6 sets of pushes) I came out quick and easy, thanks to the episiotomy the doc performed earlier.
Umm someone put me back in. Quick. This is weird. Its WAY too bright, cold, and open for me. Oh well, at least now I am officially a baby. Whoooo Hoooooo! Go me! I made it!
