Week 10: Day 64-70

You may think that all this growing and stuff has made me tired. Nope! I'm moving around and having a good 'ol time! My skin is sensitive to touch. I grew nails and hair follicles this week, so that was neat. My brain is about the structure it's going to be at birth, it just needs to increase in size a little bit. My thyroid, pancreas, and gall bladder all finished developing this week. I've been practicing using my digestive tract muscles which push food from one tract to another tract. It's not something I recommend.

OH OH OH! Guess what I can do!!! When my face is touched I can open my mouth! Isn't that neat!! I think so! Now that the hard, bony part of my palate is completely formed I can eat and breathe at the same time. Of course, I don't breathe yet, but I believe in being prepared.

I've been a little busy with some internal issues so my growth has slowed a bit. Even so, I doubled my size since last week. I'm almost 1/2 oz in weight and I'm about 2 inches long. In celebrity news, Salma Hayek is pregnant, as is Gina Torres. Mommy and Daddy are moving this week. I'm happy Daddy found a job so quickly. He's awesome!
